Description
Almost every component in this vehicle has been replaced, leaving hardly a trace of the original nuts and bolts. The sole survivors of the original build are the complete body and frame. The journey began with a standard blue Camaro featuring power windows, a shell that was meticulously stripped down to its bare essence. Our goal was to fashion a complete tribute to the Rally Sport and Super Sport models, generously imbuing it with the options, accessories, and badging reminiscent of the 1969 counterparts. Opting for a factory-inspired Rally Sports Super Sport combo, the exterior remains faithful to its original form, save for the wheels. A commitment to preserving the interior's vintage aesthetics led us to retain most original elements, with the exception of aftermarket seats sourced from another vehicle.
Beneath the hood and in the undercarriage, however, lies a modernized marvel, boasting an LS3 hot cam engine, Detroit speed suspension, and a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission, among other contemporary enhancements. Even the radio bears the guise of an original '69 Camaro Delco unit, though its internals have been upgraded by an aftermarket company. This transformation introduces HD tuning, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB port to an otherwise classic piece.
The meticulous build spanned a year and a half, with ongoing tweaks and tuning carried out since its completion. The endeavor demanded a significant investment of time, effort, finances, and passion, resulting in a labor of love that truly stands as a testament to dedication.
