1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

This little Guards Red over Black G body cabriolet has only accumulated 53K miles through 2 owners. The multi-piece wheels were said to be much loved by the first owner and installed by the selling dealer. Very cool period correct pieces, in my opinion. The car is wearing Michelin tires and has had a motor out service by a local and well-known Porsche air-cooled tech after a long period of the car sitting. This 911 was owned by an uncle then transferred to a nephew upon his passing. The nephew brought the car back up to driving status, but we found the shifter and the top operation to not be up to our standards. German Motor Werkes then went over the car and corrected these items for the next owner. G50 transmission cars are very desirable and this one checks that box.

For a discerning buyer, this car is not flawless. It has been surface damaged and repainted in its life. The Carfax is clean and the nephew did not have information regarding the repaint. This is a certainly a mechanically sorted car that can be driven and enjoyed without fear of rock chips. We keep all of our cars indoors on a painted floor so leaks are easy to identify. This car does not leak as it was recently resealed from an engine out service. The car starts right up with no issues, brakes and clutch are tight and the top condition is very good.
