Mercedes hasn't really changed the G Wagon design a ton since it appeared in the late 70's. However, the amount of polish and appointment has certainly increased over those decades. Here we have a super clean G63 and this generation was powered by the 5.5L Bi Turbo V8 churning our 563HP. Tons of on road presence and timeless styling, but the G Wagon is a capable off roader as well. Not many vehicles feature triple locking differentials, but the G has them standard. If the sand of your favorite beach is where you like to take your truck or if the top of your private mountain is the destination, this truck will get you there. We added a very slightly larger than factory set of BFG All terrains. Why this tire? Because, like the Mercedes G, they're the most rugged and longest lasting tires in the All Terrain segment. These really complete the look that a G Wagon should have, in our opinion.
